The Forest Service has conducted an environmental analysis of the Stanislaus National Forest Over-Snow Vehicle (OSV) use Designation. A draft environmental impact statement (DEIS) is now available online at the Stanislaus National Forest website at: https://www.fs.usda.gov/project/?project=46311

The DEIS and supporting documentation can be found in the “Project Documents” section, under the “Analysis” tab.

Instructions for submitting hand delivered, hard copy mail or email comments for the record are contained within the attached letter. Also included in the letter are instructions for electronic submission of comments for the record by alternative methods on or after August 24, 2018.

Additional information regarding this project can be obtained from Bart Lander, Inter-displinary Team Leader, at 559-920-6344.
