On March 5, 2019, the California Air Resources Board (CARB) released the Notice of Public Hearing for the proposed amendments to the Red Sticker Program for Off-Highway Recreational Vehicles. The comment period on the proposed amendments extends from March 8, 2019, to April 22, 2019.

CARB staff found and corrected an error in the Initial Statement of Reasons (ISOR), Chapter XII References, page 77, as described below. The model used to develop the emissions inventory for Off-Highway Recreational Vehicles (RV2018) for purposes of developing this rulemaking and described in Appendix C, Update to Inventory of Off-Highway Motorcycles & RV2018 Model, was inadvertently not included in the list of documents relied upon in the References chapter. The correction to include the model in the list of references complies with Government Code section 11347.1.

The deadline for public comments on the proposed amendments to the Red Sticker Program for Off-Highway Recreational Vehicles will not be extended by this correction because the additional documents will be available for the full comment period.

The errata, including the corrected, updated, ISOR, Chapter XII References, Page 77, is available on CARB’s website.

Any questions regarding this correction should be directed to Scott Monday, Staff Air Pollution Specialist, Engineering and Regulatory Development Section, at (916) 445-9319.
