NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Off-Highway Motor Vehicle Recreation (OHMVR) Commission, pursuant to authority contained in Section 5090.24 of the Public Resources Code and Section 11120 et seq. of the Government Code, will conduct a tour on January 23, 2020 and meet on January 24, 2020 according to the following schedule.

Thursday, January 23, 2020 8:00 a.m. – U.S. Forest Service San Bernardino National Forest

Weather Permitting

Tour Information: The tour is open to the public and will begin at 8:00 a.m. on Thursday, January 23, 2020, in the parking lot of the Lake Arrowhead Resort and Spa, 27984 Highway 189, Lake Arrowhead, California. Weather permitting, the tour group will stop at various locations within the San Bernardino National Forest and will last approximately six to seven hours. If you wish to use your own vehicle on the tour, a high clearance 4x4 vehicle capable of traveling through snow and muddy conditions is recommended. Tour participants are responsible for their own food and water supplies, and should wear appropriate clothing, hats, and footwear suitable for possible snow showers and cold weather.

Following the conclusion of the tour, OHMVR Commission members may leave for a recreational ride. No business will be discussed and the public is invited to attend.

NOTICE IS ALSO HEREBY GIVEN that the agenda for the Commission is posted at www.ohv.parks.ca.gov. If individuals are unable to obtain information through this source, please contact the OHMVR Division at (916) 324-4442. Referenced materials may undergo modification and will be available to the public as changes are made.

NOTICE IS GIVEN that any person may file a written statement on the proposed actions by writing to the OHMVR Commission or may present written statements at the meeting on January 24, 2020. Any person handing out written materials to the OHMVR Commission shall provide the Recording Secretary with fourteen (14) copies. Members of the public presenting visual aids (projected media) as part of their public comments to the Commission are requested to submit the material(s) to the OHMVR Commission five (5) days prior to the scheduled meeting.

The OHMVR Commission and the OHMVR Division reserve the right to decline to show photographs that violate personal privacy (photos without a release from the person/people shown in the photograph) or other valid reason in the opinion of the Division and its legal counsel.
