The comment deadline for the Forest Service's proposed revisions to its National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) regulations is Monday, August 26, 2019. Below are the comments to the NEPA proposed rule changes submitted on behalf of Cal4Wheel.

The Planning Team will consider all comments received in developing a Preferred Concept for the General Plan Revision. The Preferred Concept will be presented in another public meeting in the fall of 2019.

You, the recreationist, need to make your opinions known to the planning team about routes (roads and trails) that need to be included in record for developing the alternatives to the Proposed Action. This is the first step in a NEPA process. This is the time for the public to submit their comments. These comments will be used to develop the alternatives. One of the alternatives will be the final preferred action.
